big steps, playing games
games have arrived... i repeat... games have arrived!
earlier this week we accidentally released the games feature a little early but no worries, it seems like you all are enjoying it quite a bit! so far we've had about 150,000+ coins claimed that were claimed through the new games feature and that is without telling everyone how it works, so let's break it down
when you visit our new games page, you'll see a short list of games that we thought were cool and needed some attention. we pick a few badges from those games and based on how long it takes to get those badges you'll get an appropriate amount of coins. our goal is to rotate the games/badges every month so that you'll have new games to come back and play after earning all the other badges
so is that all?
not really, we're hoping to polish up the games feature with feedback we get from you. if you see something you don't like or have ideas how we can make it better please let us know and we're always listening!
where is my fave game?!
if you don't see a game you would like to see, reach out to your favorite game developer and tell them to get in touch! they can reach us on discord, twitter or email (hi@oxp.gg). we'll work to get them into our permanent or temporary rotation if they want to try it out :)

so we're thinking of making these changes to the games and existing features per recent chats and discussion
(1) games updates
we need to get more games on the site so first order of business is to pitch our site to as many game devs as we can (feel free to help us out with this haha). as the number of games increase we also want to add a main banner so we can boost a game's coin earnings and show it as a banner.
(2) coin shop updates
we need a way to display how much stock is left on the site for the coin shop so that you can know which items are going to be running out soon
(3) onboarding updates
lots of people have a hard time knowing what the site is when they first join so we're hoping that we can make the onboarding process waaay easier so that as soon as you join you know what's up (aka play games, get coins, get UGC haha). it seems like once you know what the site is all about it's a lot of fun.
unrelated updates
we dropped some pretty dope items that would spruce up any halloween fit so definitely check out some of our UGC and help us keep the free UGC ball rolling!
